Although vespas, to me, are synonymous with 1960s Italian lifestyle, they actually are one of the most popular modes of transpiration in Paris. The streets are tiny and avenues are tremendously overcrowded so vespas are both a utility and a fashion staple in the haute city. I wish I took more photos of the vespas of Paris, but I managed to capture three.

A July Afternoon at Place Verdôme
It was a cold rainy day in Upstate New York and I found myself yearning for the summer days I spent in Paris. While looking through my photo album I came across this photograph and thought I’d share it with you.

Instagram Transcends the iphone and into the pages of Vogue
If you’re a blogger you know that an iphone is now essential to the job not only to tweet or upload images directly to your blog, but for instagram. It’s great for making people look tanner, hiding pimples, and overall giving the appearance that one looks better than they really do.
But instragram has extended itsself outside the realm of bloggers. The professionals want in too!
Although the shoot wasn’t done via iphone, the spread definitely has a vintagey grainy feel to it that is very similar to the images that instagram produces.
And it’s no surprise that the spread included one of Miu Miu’s Fall 2011 1940s dresses. They have been used in numerous magazines this fall.

Wardrobe Wishlist: Anthropologie
My friend asked me if I could help her find a collared necklace for under $100. Jewelry-line Dannijo has really changed necklaces by creating one big enough to call it a collar necklace. And although I would love to own it myself, my student budget doesn’t really allow me the freedom to spend that kind of dough when I’m jobless. So I took it upon myself to look for a cheaper but just as chic alternative to Dannijo’s must have collars.
While looking at the usual online stores of asos.com, topshop, shopstyle, shopbob, and net-a-porter I forgot one of my favorite stores, Anthropologie.
Although I was suppose to just be looking at necklaces, some how I ended up at shoes and other accessories. I hadn’t been on the website or in a store for so long. I had forgotten what a great selection of unique and beautiful things they offer.
With the holidays just around the corner I thought I’d show you some items that will be on my wishlist, although I doubt I’ll be getting all of them. A girl can dream though, can’t she?
